Hello all! You can’t guess where I went on Saturday! Actually you can cause you read the title…..I went to a TRUMP RALLY!!! It was amazing and super cool and crazy awesome and I am so glad I got up early, waited for 5 hours and got sore feet (and neck). 😀 Here’s a little bit about it and then a couple short vids and pics!!! Comment down below if you have ever gone to a Trump rally or if you plan too!
The rally was in Belgrade, so very near where I live, which was super awesome cause I didn’t have to get up way early or skip school/work. We waited in line (which was YUUGE btw; they expected 5,000 people and got almost 10,000!) for around 2 hours and then stood in the hanger for a couple more….then Air Force 1 landed! Super, duper amazingly cool to see it coming. And seeing the president in person was unreal. Honestly, having watched Trump on TV for the past three years and then actually being there is so awesome. It’s still sinking in.
The crowd was amazing, people were awesome, we had lots of fun talking to people and just sharing in the excitement. Crazy feeling being there and feeling the energy that Trump puts out. It’s happy, exciting, uplifting, positive and crazy American. We were also super close to the podium (which is good cause I’m short 😉 )!
Overall, going to a Trump rally was something on my bucket list and is one of the best things I’ve ever done. Will never forget it!
Here are some pictures and videos I took. My phone died right before he started talking, so the pics from during the rally are all from my sister: http://www.thelighthouseofessays.wordpress.com (go check out her blog!)
(Sorry for a shaky hand while videoing lol)

All I wanna say is…….
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
I hope you guys all have a wonderful 4th. Enjoy your families, love your country, and don’t forget the BBQ, fireworks and our beautiful 🇺🇸. Happy 4th everyone!!! ❤ 😀
We normally don’t know the full extent to which the laws of our states go to. After all, how could we know unless we committed the offense…and who would even try to make glue out of a dead skunk? Yeah, me neither.
Anyway, here are some of the wierdest laws in the U.S. that I found interesting and ridiculous.
- Arkansas: Can’t sound a horn after 9PM at any place serving cold drinks or sandwiches
- Illinois: Cannot fall asleep in a cheese shop
- Montana: You must finish an on-stage performance–you can’t leave halfway through
- New Hampshire: No picnicking in cemeteries
- New York: No selfies with tigers
- Oklahoma: No making glue out of dead skunks
- West Virginia: May not swear in public, or you’ll be fined $1
- Wyoming: Failing to close a fence behind you is a $750 fine
- Conneticut: Pickles must bounce at a distance of one foot to be considered fit for sale
- Montana (my state): It’s illegal to play frisbee-golf on the plains
- In Baldwin Park, California: You cannot ride a bike in a swimming pool
Comment down below your favorite one and a crazy one from your home state!
Hey guys! Happy Memorial Day to all of you! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend with your family and friends, remembering the incredible, brave men and women who sacrificed everything for our country and our freedom.
I think that remembering those who died, makes us think of those who still live and fight for us each and every day. I am grateful to all those who have died, because it means that we’re still free today. I am grateful to those who serve today, because it means that we’ll be free tomorrow.
Every day, we should think about those who have died in the service of this country and those who still serve. Memorial Day isn’t just once a year, it’s every day that this beautiful country is free. Every day we should take a moment to think of the blessings bestowed upon us, that we live here, in America. And everyday, we should think and remember those who let us live here today. And most of all, we should remember that God is with those that have died, their families, and with those that still serve. He is with each and every one of us, with this country, and with the entire world.
Happy Memorial Day! God Bless America!
P.S. I know I said I’d post every week, and I haven’t and I’m sorry. But I’ve been arranging everything for new job, which I just got, so it’s been a little busy. Sorry! I’ll try to post one this week.
To me, 2016 was a great year. Still, I’m very happy to be moving on to 2017 and I am looking forward to all the great things to come.
This past year, other than personal things, I think that the one big thing that was so absolutely great was the election. I know some people disagree with me, but there is once again Hope this Christmas. Hope for the country, the world, yourself, the future. Everything looks brighter. It feels like the words by Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” are possible again. In the words of the President-Elect, “Dream big, never think anything is impossible.”
So, altogether, it seems like 2017 will be a great year. I’m sure that hard work, trials and moments of despair will be there, but together we can achieve anything, a united America, with a president who is truly ‘for the people, by the people, of the people’.
Enjoy the wonderful holidays with family and friends and take time to realize how lucky we all are to be a part of today and how wonderful that we can shape tomorrow.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!!!
